Selling AI capability as add-ons rather than bundling it is a deliberate commercial choice with a practical consequence. A business comparing platforms on headline seat price should establish which capabilities are included and which are extra, because two apparently similar quotes can differ substantially once the add-ons a business actually needs are counted.
