What is Gimkit?

Gimkit is a game based review platform where students answer teacher created question sets, called Kits, to earn in game currency they can spend on power ups and upgrades across more than two dozen game modes, including top down adventures, platformers, and tycoon style games. A KitCollab option lets students submit their own questions before a game starts, and Kits can be imported directly from existing Quizlet sets.

Teachers can run games live in class or assign them as self paced homework, and a dashboard shows individual and class level performance reports. Gimkit Creative adds a sandbox mode where students can build their own mini games. The Basic plan is free with unlimited students per session, while Gimkit Pro unlocks every game mode and the assignment feature for a monthly or annual fee, with volume pricing for departments and schools.
