Paradox is a conversational AI recruiting platform built around an assistant named Olivia that handles high volume hiring for retail, healthcare and hospitality employers. Olivia screens candidates with knockout questions, answers common questions about pay and benefits, schedules interviews by syncing with recruiter calendars, and sends SMS reminders, all through text based conversations on SMS, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger in more than 100 languages. The suite covers conversational ATS, CRM, career sites, scheduling and event check-in.
In October 2025 Workday completed its acquisition of Paradox for roughly one billion dollars, and the product is now sold as the Workday Paradox Candidate Experience Agent while still operating under the Paradox brand. Paradox does not publish pricing; enterprise contracts are quoted individually based on hiring volume, and there is no free plan or free trial.
