GetTerms is an all-in-one data privacy compliance solution combining a cookie consent manager, banner generator, automated website cookie scanner and policy generation, with GDPR, PIPEDA and CCPA coverage and a WordPress plugin.

Automatic script blocking is the technically substantive capability and it separates a real consent platform from a banner. Displaying a notice while the tracking scripts have already loaded is not consent in any legal sense, and a great many sites do exactly that because blocking scripts properly requires intercepting them before execution rather than asking politely afterwards.

Website cookie scanning is the necessary companion, since blocking can only cover what has been identified. Automated scanning catalogues what the site actually loads, which reliably surprises site owners: tags added for a campaign three years ago are still firing, and each one is a disclosure obligation nobody recorded.

Google Consent Mode integration preserves advertising measurement when visitors decline, geolocation and language detection apply the right rules and language to the right visitor, and consent logs provide the record an enforcement authority would ask for.
