Artifax is venue and event management software covering scheduling, resources and integrations, with security and compliance documentation, sector and department configurations, and services spanning implementation, consultancy, training, support, custom development and customer success.

Managing the venue rather than the ticket is the distinction that places Artifax differently from the ticketing platforms it sits beside, and it addresses the harder scheduling problem. A performing arts centre has to fit rehearsals, get-ins, performances, school workshops, conferences and weddings into the same rooms with the same technical crew, and most of that activity never sells a ticket at all.

Commercial hire is the part this serves that ticketing software ignores entirely, and it frequently matters more to the finances than the artistic programme. A theatre earning from conference bookings on dark days needs those enquiries, quotes and contracts in the same calendar as the shows, or the two will be double-booked.

Offering implementation, consultancy and training as named services is realistic rather than an upsell, since configuring a venue system means encoding how one organisation actually works, from what counts as a get-in to who may approve an overtime call, and that is consultancy rather than installation.
